Identification, design, development and transfer of cutting-edge technologies to the productive and business sector aimed at solving relevant state-of-the-art problems in the fields of prognosis, diagnosis and clinical monitoring and food safety.

Advised identification of needs and problems in the clinical and food safety fields

Selection and design of (bio)sensing platforms to provide solutions in these fields

Construction, characterisation, validation and integration of (bio)sensing platforms in a portable and multiplexed miniaturised instrumentation

Implementation of an exploitation and transfer plan for the technological results obtained

Interdisciplinary and Inter-Institutional Consortium

TransNanoAvansens is a stable multidisciplinary Consortium of researchers and companies

Six research groups from universities and research centers in the Community of Madrid

Participation of 11 companies and collaboration of hospital and diagnostic entities that guarantee an adequate participation of the productive sector in the establishment of the objectives and methodologies of the project in order to have products that can be transferred to the market

Scientific Expertise of the Consortium

Extensive and proven experience in the development of novel (bio)sensing platforms based on electrochemical sensors and biosensors, microfluidic systems and artificial catalytic micromotors in the field of health and food safety

Proven scientific experience shared over the last eight years in previous programmes of this call: AVANSENS (S2009/PPQ1642) and NANOAVANSENS (S2013/MIT3029)

Purpose of TransNanoAvansens

Development of (bio)sensor platforms of the sample-result type that meet the current demands of prognosis, diagnosis and clinical monitoring and food safety

Recruitment of young researchers and fostering their mobility between the different groups that make up the Consortium

Exploitation, integration and transfer of all the knowledge acquired and technology developed in the previous programmes
